~ Gil's Buzz Archives-Summer of 1999 ~
|
|
From
the Summer '99
It's a busy time for Gil in the
movies!
"Mystery Men"
is currently in theaters across
the country, and Gil has a small part in it (unfortunately,
a lot of Gil's stuff was left on the cutting room floor!)
Too bad...but not as bad as Lena Olin, whose part in "Mystery
Men" got cut to shreds even worse than Gil's! |
| In
late August, Gil attended the MethodFest Film Festival in
Pasadena, at the historic State Theater, for the premiere
of the film "Deadly Delusions". "Deadly Delusions" is a
murder mystery, in which Gil plays Ryan, whose daughter
Celia is found murdered after an earthquake. Celia was the
victim of a serial killer who terrorizes the small town
of Little Canyon. "Deadly Delusions" is a Mitch Matovich
production, and stars Christopher Atkins and Dee Wallace
Stone, who was also at the premiere. |
| And
speaking of Film Festivals, another film Gil is in,
"Bob's Video" is making its world premiere at the Cine
Accion Film Festival in San Francisco on September 19! "Bob's
Video" bills itself as the world's first romantic comedy
about a hostage situation in a video store. Gil plays Floyd,
the video store customer, who has a penchant for the Adult
Section of the store. |
|
We
are still waiting for NBC to re-run the 3rd Rock from
the Sun episode with Gil called "Dick vs. Strudwick."
And Gil is currently busy with voice-over auditions, as
Mark Quinn of Abrams, Rubiloff and Lawrence has recently
agreed to represent him for Voice Over.
