Gil as Uncle Gil the Balloon Man, has appeared in many stage
productions, including Andi's Act, Murietta & Kassin: The
Early Years and many improv shows such as Head Waiters of
the Nile and The Comedy Store Players. Uncle Gil is a character
who once had a kiddie tv show, "Uncle Gil's Bean Bag World"
in the late 70's, until he got fired for the infamous donkey
incident, after which he plummeted into a world of despair
and alcoholism. But now Uncle Gil is making his comeback,
delighting all the boys and girls who once loved his show,
who are now grown-ups. Uncle Gil usually works "blue" because
he needs cheap laughs. |
